Law school is the destination
LSAT prep in progress. Scenic route. Still going.

How It Started

The bottom of the pay scale and a decision to move.

After my first divorce, I was working full-time at the bottom of the corporate pay scale and going absolutely nowhere. I wasn't broke in spirit - I was just done accepting that this was it. So I started school at night. Full schedule. On top of a full-time job. For two years.

I walked out with my AAS in Paralegal Technology and went straight into criminal defense law. A private practice law office that handled primarily criminal cases - some family and personal injury, but mostly criminal. I did everything I could legally do. Client support. Court appearances. Filings. Strategy support. I was in it completely.

At the same time I was finishing my BAAS in Business. My LSAT was scheduled. Law school was the plan and I was right there.

Then I found out I was pregnant. A few months before the LSAT. And everything - the plan, the timeline, the version of what I thought my life was about to look like - stopped.

I didn't spiral. I redirected. I took what felt like the longest detour of my life and started building something from scratch - during nap times, late at night, with a (now) husband who showed up as a partner in every real sense of that word. In February 2021 I officially launched what would become Relentless Virtual.

February 2021

It started as freelance virtual assistance. It evolved into a full consultancy. And the detour turned out to be the education I didn't know I needed.

1
The beginning
Corporate bottom rung after divorce
Full-time job. Bottom of the pay scale. Decided that wasn't the destination. Started school at night and didn't stop until it changed.
2
The credential
AAS in Paralegal Technology
Two years of night school on top of a full-time job. Landed a criminal defense paralegal role as soon as a law office would take me. Did everything legally allowed - from client support to court.
3
The pivot
Pregnant. LSAT scheduled. Plan stopped.
A few months out from the LSAT, life changed the timeline. I redirected. Then built something during nap times and late nights that nobody asked me to build.

Relentless Virtual is born
What started as freelance virtual assistance grew into a full-service brand strategy and marketing consultancy. Built from scratch. Zero runway. Total conviction.

Now
LSAT prep. Law school on the horizon.
The plan never disappeared - it just took the scenic route. Law school is still coming. And the years of building have given me more to bring with me when I gets there. And what I'm doing now? It's not going anywhere.

WHAT I BELIEVE

The right people shouldn't have to fight to be seen.

Every system I've ever built - for clients, for my own businesses, for the people I teach through Lattes & Logic - comes back to one conviction: the right people shouldn't blend in. They should be distinct by design.

That belief didn't come from a marketing textbook. It came from watching what happened in courtrooms, in law offices, in rooms where reputation is the currency and visibility is the difference between getting the opportunity and being passed over for someone louder.

I know how authority actually works. Not as a concept - as a lived reality. And that changes how I approach every client, every brand, every piece of strategy I touch.

You don't have to come from power to create it.

Most of the clients I work with built their credibility from scratch - without the right last name, without inherited connections, without a head start. The ones who win online are the ones who learn to translate that real authority into visible presence.

Consistency beats perfection. Every time.

Nobody's watching you miss a post. They're watching whether you're still there in six months. The strategy that works is the one you can actually sustain - built around your real life, not an idealized version of it.

The detour is part of the qualification.

Every redirect, every unexpected pivot, every season that didn't go according to plan - those are the things that make the work real. The scenic route doesn't disqualify you. It prepares you for rooms you wouldn't have been ready for otherwise.

Strategy without honesty is just noise.

The brands that actually build trust are the ones that say what they mean. That have a real point of view. That aren't afraid to be specific about who they're for - which means being honest about who they're not for.

The Life Beside It

Building a business while building a life.

I am a wife. A mom of two. A bonus mom to two more. I'm also a fur momma. A Southeast Texas woman doing all of this inside a full life that doesn't pause for content calendars or product launches.

My husband is a plant worker and a drummer. Our house is loud and alive. There are four kids in our blended family and each one of them is a reason why the systems I build have to actually work in real time - not just in theory.

Nobody gives you a framework for building a business while building a life at the same time. You just figure it out and try not to drop the important ones.

I built Relentless Virtual during nap times and late nights when my youngest was a baby. I run two businesses now. I'm in active LSAT prep. And I still show up for the people around me - not because I have it all figured out, but because I've built systems that make it possible.

That lived experience - the actual reality of what it takes to build something inside a full, demanding, real life - is the foundation of everything inside Lattes & Logic. Those courses exist because the version of me that needed them didn't have them.

The Scenic Route

Law school is still coming.

The LSAT was scheduled when I found out I was pregnant. That was the original plan - paralegal work as the bridge, law school as the destination. Criminal defense. Maybe family law. The path was clear.

What I didn't understand then was that the detour was going to give me something the direct route never could. Five years of building brands, writing strategy, working with attorneys and executives and elected officials - seeing from the outside how reputation actually functions in professional environments - that's not curriculum you find in a classroom.

The scenic route isn't a failure to arrive. It's arriving with more than you would have had if you'd taken the highway.

I'm in active LSAT prep right now. Law school is happening within the next 2 years, I'm set on it. And the businesses I've built are designed to run smart and lean while I get there and get through it. I'm not willing to drop the thing I've built just to get to the next thing. That's why we have the systems that we have.

This part of the story matters because it shows up in how I work. I don't build strategies that require you to blow up your life to execute them. I build systems that work inside the life you actually have because that's the only kind of system I've ever been able to use myself.

WHO I WORK WITH

I'm not for everyone. That's the point.

The work is better when it's the right fit. Here's how to know which side of that line you're on.

Perfect fit

You want real, not polished

You're not looking for someone to tell you what you want to hear. You want someone who'll tell you the truth about your brand, your positioning, what's actually working, and what isn't - because you understand that honest strategy leads to real results.

Not a fit

You need validation more than results

If you're looking for someone to affirm every decision and keep the peace, this isn't the partnership for you. The work requires honesty - sometimes uncomfortable honesty - and that's exactly what makes it work.

Not a fit

You want a quick fix or a magic formula

There's no shortcut to real authority. If you're looking for a viral hack or a template that does the work for you, you'll be disappointed. The strategy here is built for people willing to do the actual work.

Perfect fit

You're ready to be seen - and known

You have something worth building. You've earned the credibility. You just need the strategy, the presence, and the consistency to make sure the right people know you exist. That's exactly what this work is designed to do.

Perfect fit

You're building in real life, not ideal conditions

You have a full life. Kids, a job, a business, a family, obligations that don't pause. The systems here are built to work in real time - not on a content creator's schedule where posting is the only responsibility.

Not a fit

You expect results without showing up

Strategy only works when you execute it. The tools, the plans, and the frameworks are all here - but they require you to actually use them. If you're looking for someone to do it all while you stay invisible, this isn't the right match.
